Consultation has concluded

Council has created a mobility map of our town centres to assist people with a disability, temporary mobility issues, parents with children in prams and tourists alike, to better navigate our beautiful mountains. This exciting new venture has been a 12-month project of Council in partnership with Blueprint Consultancy who specialise in wayfinding and signage.

Utilising the Google app via your phone or tablet, you can simply type in the search engine the town you would like to visit. Then it will come up with key accessible assets. These assets include the following:


  • Accessible playgrounds
  • Chemists
  • Civic Buildings
  • Medical
  • Taxi
  • Train
  • Parking
  • Accessible toilets
  • Hiking tracks
  • Lookouts
