Katoomba Falls Reserve Precinct Plan

As part of the Southern Escarpment Masterplan, Katoomba Falls Reserve has been identified as a priority area for the preparation of a precinct plan to inform the upgrade of Reserve and visitor infrastructure.

The purpose of the Katoomba Falls Reserve Precinct Plan is to coordinate planning for nature and culture-based recreation and to prioritise and guide the delivery of recreational infrastructure upgrades. This will enable Council to improve residential amenity, meet current safety and accessibility standards, meet current and future visitor demand, improve the experience of both residents and visitors, and support local economic development.

Community feedback on this preliminary material has now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted their thoughts via the online survey. A summary of the feedback will be provided in early 2024.
