  • Towards Zero Waste

The circular economy reduces waste by sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended and we can minimise the amount of waste in landfills.

Budget has been set aside for ‘The Binfluencer awards’ as a direct response to councils Towards Zero Waste strategy 2022-2031 action plan to recognise and celebrate community actions that contribute towards a circular economy. Funds are put towards vouchers to reward recipients for their achievements. The program ends in a celebration event where we recognise and celebrate all those who took part.
