The Council has prepared a number of Draft Plans that provide details about the services, facilities and infrastructure the Council will provide and proposed related expenditure. The following Draft Plans are on public exhibition from 9 April to 7 May:

  • Sustainable Blue Mountains 2025—this Plan identifies the long term priorities of the community and the Council’s and other agencies response to these priorities
  • Delivery Program 2010-2013—this Plan is about the services the Council will deliver over the next 3 years and includes the 2010-2013 Capital Works Program
  • Operational Plan 2010-2011— this Plan is about the specific actions the Council will deliver in 2010-2011 and includes the 2010-2011 Budgets, Rates and Charges and Fees and Charges

Proposed Increase to Rates (Special Variation)
The Council is facing key funding challenges in maintaining existing levels of services and assets into the future, including provision of bushfire and emergency service responsiveness. The Council is proposing to seek approval for a Special Variation to rates. To find out more see the related item at
