With the tourism industry and community we are co-designing a new Destination Management Plan for the Blue Mountains.

As an Eco certified destination recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), Blue Mountains City Council has committed to meeting internationally recognised best practice standards across the four sustainability pillars: cultural, economic, environmental and social.

Given the Blue Mountains’ geographic and landscape setting, where towns and villages are intertwined with magnificent natural areas that are part of a World Heritage Area, ensuring the Destination Management Plan capitalises on these assets whilst protecting them, is critical.

Blue Mountains City Council has contracted TRC Tourism to deliver the Destination Management Plan for the Blue Mountains.

This survey has now closed.
